Trim Levels in the Grand Wagoneer

The new Grand Wagoneer is available in the following trim levels, each one offering a varying level of luxury and utility:

Performance

The standard engine in the Grand Wagoneer is the "Hurricane," a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six gas-powered engine. This engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the base powertrain will offer drivers up to 510 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard in the Grand Wagoneer, but some trim packages will offer four-wheel drive. In fact, the Grand Wagoneer will offer a variety of four-wheel drive systems to suit your driving needs.

The palatial model offers body-on-frame underpinnings, an independent rear suspension, and an available adaptive air suspension system. This setup will allow drivers to raise the Grand Wagoneer by up to 3.6 inches or lower it by 0.5 inches whenever desired. The base ground clearance, without the air suspension system, is 10 inches. The luxe SUV model will be able to ford up to 24 inches of water and offer a towing capacity of 9,860 pounds.

Design

The opulent Grand Wagoneer is simply luxurious. Three rows of seats are standard in the Grand Wagoneer, and the vehicle will seat between seven and eight passengers. The second row may be either a bench seat or captain's chairs, which determine how many people the Grand Wagoneer carries.

The cabin of the Grand Wagoneer offers genuine wood accents across the cabin. By attempting to connect to its vintage past, the Grand Wagoneer will offer a two-spoke steering wheel. An "Established (EST) 1963" is standard in every Grand Wagoneer. The luxury SUV offers a cargo area offering 27 cubic feet of storage space. The third row may fold to offer 71 cubic feet of storage.

Technology

The dashboard of the Grand Wagoneer appears covered in screens, from the digital display cluster to the 12-inch center touchscreen, which is the control base for the infotainment center. A 10.3-inch touchscreen offers the ability to control the climate inside the Grand Wagoneer. In addition, the Grand Wagoneer offers customers something that other SUVs simply don't: a touchscreen monitor for the front seat passenger.

There are USB ports in all three rows of the Grand Wagoneer; drivers won't have to worry about charging a backseat passenger's device. There is also an optional rear-seat entertainment system available.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available to access the Grand Wagoneer's software interface. With this technology, one may use voice-activated commands to make phone calls to one's contacts or send a touchless text. A Wi-Fi hotspot is standard, but it requires a subscription. All Grand Wagoneer SUVs come equipped with a McIntosh stereo system; however, the higher trims will offer up to 23 speakers.

Safety Features

Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keeping assists, and automatic emergency braking are all standard in the Grand Wagoneer. The elegant SUV also offers a wealth of optional safety features, including adaptive cruise control, self-parking, and night vision. Night vision will include animal and pedestrian detection.
